Mr Patel is a 53 year old gentleman who has residual brain injury following a removal of a brain tumour several years ago. He was also left with epilepsy. He is no longer able to communicate verbally and his wife speaks for him.
His wife has stated that he used to go to a Day Centre every day, however of late, Mr Patel has not been well enough to go and will probably not be able to go back once he is discharged from hospital.
